Bible Translation and Utilization Advisory Committee

The Bible Translation and Utilization Advisory Committee (BTU) operates under the direction of the Friendship Press Board of Directors to provide guidance and counsel on matters of content business acumen related to Bible translation and its use.

BTU members possess expertise in one or more areas of competency:

  • Bible and language translation, translation theory, or translation studies
  • Bible and religious marketing, sales, and distribution
  • Education, with specialty in reading, learning, or pedagogy
  • Digital media, licensing, or copyright permissions

BTU members are an integral part of the work to update the New Revised Standard Version of the Bible.
